Benchmark Scientific® Mini BlotBoy™ Fixed Speed 3D Rocker, B3D1008

Inspired by our well-received BioMixer line of “nutating” shakers, these platform rockers deliver ideal three-dimensional motion for every blotting task. Their tilt angle and speed are precisely calibrated to ensure gentle yet effective mixing in gel trays, boxes, and other flat containers.

Both the Mini BlotBoy™ and BlotBoy™ include autoclavable flat mats as standard and excel at blot washing and gel staining/destaining. Designed with bench-space efficiency in mind, the Mini BlotBoy™ features a 10.5 x 7.5 inch platform, while the larger BlotBoy™ offers a 12 x 12 inch platform—boosting usable workspace by 80%.

The Mini BlotBoy™ and BlotBoy™ support stackable platforms and can manage loads up to 2 kg. Equipped with maintenance-free brushless motors, both units are suitable for operation in cold rooms and incubators
