The Benchmark Scientific® B5200 is the SureAir™ PCR Workstation — a compact, benchtop laminar flow enclosure designed to create a clean, contamination-free environment for sensitive molecular biology work, especially PCR setup.

It combines:

• A quiet internal fan for laminar airflow
• A 0.3 µm HEPA filter (99.97% efficiency) to remove airborne particles
• An 8W UV-C light for surface and air decontamination

This helps prevent amplicon carryover, cross-contamination, and airborne contaminants in PCR, qPCR, and other DNA/RNA workflows.
