Chem-Crest™ 77 provides a very thin invisible film for short-term protection and desorbes under vacuum which makes it an excellent rust inhibitor for parts intended to be vacuum coated. Not suitable for aluminum or zinc.

Chem-Crest™ 77 is effective at the prevention of oxidation due to wash chemicals in use in the cleaning process, exposure to water, and hot-air drying as well as prior to coating applications, and prior to other further processing steps after the cleaning step.
