IKA® C 10 Acetobutyrate Capsules are combustion capsules for IKA calorimeters and decomposition systems, supplied in a pack of 100. With a known calorific value, they are used to hold samples containing volatile compounds and solvents, prevent splashing of the sample on ignition, and support decomposition through their additional energy. The capsules are not hygroscopic.
