IKA® R 50 High Speed Stirring Shaft for T 50, Vol. Range 250ml - 30L, 1689300

With the R 50 stirring shaft, the IKA T 50 digital disperser can be converted into a high-speed stirrer. This configuration is recommended for applications that require medium to high shearing forces. The dissolver disk design of the mixing head, combined with high speed, results in rapid mixing, dissolving, and disagglomeration, while a protective cage fitted around the mixing head and shaft ensures operational safety. Alternatively, the mixing head can be changed to a propeller design with the accessory R 1405 to facilitate low-to-medium viscosities under low shear at high speed.
