IKA® Vortex 3 Variable Speed Orbital Test Tube Shaker, 3340001

The IKA Vortex 3 is a robust orbital vortex shaker built for rapidly mixing the contents of tubes, small vessels and microtiter plates. A sturdy zinc die-cast casing combined with silicone feet offering ultra-high vibration damping keeps the unit stable even at the top of its speed range, while the self-ventilating motor allows extended continuous running with minimal self-heating.

Speed is infinitely adjustable from 500 to 2,500 rpm with a 4 mm orbital diameter. The unit can run continuously or in short-time (touch) mode, activated simply by pressing down on the attachment. Three interchangeable attachments and seven inserts (ordered separately) adapt it to tubes, microtiter plates and Erlenmeyer flasks up to 250 ml.
